Flights to Marsa Matruh from the UK are available with Thomson Airways from Easter 2010 onwards.

The direct flights will be offered from both Gatwick and Manchester and will take around four and half hours from Gatwick and closer to five hours from Manchester. Thomson is launching its Marsa Matruh, Egyptian Mediterranean Coast holiday programme with two five star all inclusive hotels, The Jaz Oriental Resort and The Jaz Almaza Beach Resort. Thomson’s sister company First Choice is not left out either they will be selling holidays to The Jaz Crytal Resort using the same Thomson Airways flights. Each of the Jaz resorts are  located next to each other in Almaza Bay and are similar in the sense they are each five star, new, All Inclusive hotels.

Flights to Marsa Matruh, airport code MUH, will operate on Tuesdays from both Manchester and Gatwick. When booking a package holiday to Marsa Matruh with Thomson in-flight meals and a 23kg baggage allowance are included as are coach transfers to the hotel. Seats with extra legroom are available from £50 per person return.
